Are you ready to countdown to the best New Year’s Eve ever?
Pink Glam New Year’s Eve Party Tips
10! Start with a bright color like pink, purple, or aqua! You can look for fabric at craft stores to find the perfect festive hue. A non-patterned fabric is best so you can have room for lots of decorative elements.
9! Pick up some wide (2-inch+) ribbon at the craft store in pink or aqua (or your color scheme) and hang over your table (or hang from chandeliers, light fixtures, etc.) and roll tightly then release for a curling streamer effect.
8! Design a matching “Happy New Year!” banner right on your computer and then send the file to an office or print shop to have printed in 16”x20” or even larger, depending on your table size.
7! Hosting a party with all handmade treats can be time-consuming when you’re trying to prep your home for guests. So pick up store-bought cupcakes and top with a festive cupcake topper for an easy, quick treat!
6! Champagne is a must on New Year’s Eve! Celebrate with mini bottles of the bubbly and add some festive flair with curling ribbon, wire decorative trim, and even gold glittered bow ties! Pick up these items at your party or craft stores and use hot glue to adhere on! For the ribbon, simply tie it around!
5! You have to have confetti to toss when the clock strikes 12 so why not give it a cute twist by filling clear favor boxes with your favorite confetti and wrapping with a simple bow. Everyone can grab their own individual confetti box!
4! Table décor! Scatter little clocks and lots of party horns for a retro festive vibe. Pick them up in the birthday section of your party store in hot pink and other bright colors.
3! For dishes, keep it clean! Use white plates and cake stands so your colors really pop. You can pair a colorful dessert or salad plate if you find a color match! I used aqua.
2! Print and frame clever sayings like “Pop, Fizz, Clink” and “Pass the Confetti” in simple white frames (or gold/pink/aqua).
1! Be the perfect hostess and keep track of the clock! At 11:50pm, pass out confetti boxes, be sure everyone has a glass of bubbly, and rally your guests for a fabulous countdown!
Follow these 10 steps and you’ll be ready for midnight. Remember; keep it colorful with a touch of sparkle and lots of bubbly for the best Glam New Year’s Eve Bash!
Cheers!
