Peony Tablescape in Pink and Green

Pink Peony Tablescape

While I don’t claim to have a green thumb, I do grow quite a few peonies each year! They’re my very favorite flower, and they grow surprisingly well in Tennessee. My wedding bouquet was all white peonies, I love them! I grow mostly pale pink but a few white and coral ones too.

This variety is the Sarah Bernhardt peony, and it’s the one I grow the most of in my peony garden.

Famille Rose Tablescape

I have been waiting for this year’s peonies to bloom so I could pair them with the Famille Rose plates. I discovered these darling plates last year, but they were sold out. Thankfully they were back in stock so I grabbed them up earlier in the spring.

There are 4 plates in total, and each design is prettier than the last. I can’t pick a favorite! I love how variety sets of dishes give each place setting a unique touch!

This tablescape would make the perfect spring or summer setting for a dinner party or birthday party! While we’re keeping it only family around here for now, my daughter absolutely adored feeling “so fancy” helping me set this table!

Pink Peony Centerpiece

The gorgeous floral chintz pairs so well with pale pink blooms. The green cabbage plates were a lucky HomeGoods find, and I topped both plates on my Serena & Lily rattan placemats. These placemats are so versatile, and I love pulling them out all year long! The scallop gives any tablescape the perfect amount of whimsy!

Tablecloth Tips & Details

For the tablecloth, I chose a pinstripe in celadon green and white. This was another HomeGoods find a few years ago. I love simple, small prints that give the table interest without being too busy. Thin stripes are a personal favorite! When I was little, my wallpaper was this exact green and white pinstripe.

One tip for finding fabulous tablecloths; visit your fabric store! You can use no-sew hem tape on the edges and have them cut the length to fit your table. I’m always flooded with tablecloth inspiration when I’m in a fabric store. Many of the table-coverings from my books were made from wandering through our local fabric store!

Garden Tablescape Place Setting

Gold & White Flatware

The flatware is one of my favorite Amazon finds, and it comes in many colors. The white and gold is simple and versatile for so many occasions! I’ve had the same set for several years, and it still looks brand new. You’ve likely noticed it on many of my tables if you’re a regular follower!

Peony Centerpiece

Peonies were the star for florals, and all I did was display them in one large green ginger jar vase and a few smaller Juliska vases from my collection. My Mom has the best eye when it comes to arranging florals so she tucked in a few soloman seal, fern and nandina stems as well. That was it for florals!

Summer Floral Tablescape

The wine glasses are also Juliska, and you can spot them in this summer tablescape from last year as well. They’re just gorgeous and definitely my favorite set of wine glasses.

Rattan and Floral Tablescape

Rattan Wrapped Glassware

The natural wrapped glassware is from Amanda Lindroth, a personal favorite brand of mine! They remind me of Palm Beach and all things summer! Ironically, they pair perfectly with the rattan tea light holders I found at Target. They aren’t available anymore, but the Opal House line also has a similar woven votive holder with touches of yellow and white.

The brass palm tree candlestick holders are another Target find from last year, however, I have sourced a few very similar styles here and here

I hope you’re inspired to set your own pink and green garden tablescape! This is such a classic color combination that works so beautifully for many occasions! Don’t worry if you don’t have peonies, any pink blooms will be just fine!
