Beach Beautiful

We are so excited to be able to share this gorgeous shore wedding with you! Married on a private beach along the New Jersey coast, Donna and Brian’s affair was nothing short of FABULOUS. The ceremony took place just before sunset under a beautiful arch (decorated by Donna herself!). The bride and groom poured multi-colored sand into a keepsake vase to represent their unity, in lieu of a candle -such a sweet idea and perfect for the beach!

I also adore the vibrant colors that the bride chose. From the refreshing turquoise of the bridesmaids’ dresses to the rich pinks of the flowers, everything just works together flawlessly.

The reception, held at the Sea Shell Resort, was more of the same perfection. Along with some help from Mom and friends, this DIY bride created all of the centerpieces herself using heart and starfish bowls, sand, candles, seashells and gerber daisies, making for delightful décor…and the party only got better when Donna, her brother and sister-in-law all took to the stage to sing and entertain their guests! This fun-filled affair will surely have them talking for years to come :)

It was a great day!! Everything was perfect. It was a lot of work but definitely worth it in the end!!! I would like to give a shot out to everyone that helped me with the do-it-yourself chores: Elaine and my Mom for the beautiful arbor and help with the centerpieces and flowers, Katie for helping with the programs, Laura for helping with the welcome buckets, Jaimee for making the Shell beautiful, my dad for doing whatever we asked him to and everyone else that pitched in for a wonderful day I will never forget!!
