“What Will it Bee?” Gender Reveal Shower!
Gender reveal showers are growing in popularity + it’s easy to see why – they are adorable! The premise is based around inviting friends + family over to share in the joy of revealing the baby’s gender! This gender reveal party is a “WHAT WILL IT BEE?” shower designed by Magdalena of Oh So Chic Celebrations! It was designed for the original baby soiree in Toronto as inspiration for mommies! Magdalene wanted to keep the bee palette softer than the common black + yellow so she opted for yellow, white, + gray! It created such a gorgeous, soft feeling for the baby shower!
The seated lunch began with a darling gift box filled with a little jar of honey, a honey stirrer, and sweet sugar cookie to enjoy! It was the perfect little gift for guests to take home.
Guests enjoyed a mixture of homemade + store-bought yummies including coconut truffles, cake pop truffles, gourmet honey marshmallows, lemon and honey cupcakes, and sweet cookies! At the center was a bee hive shaped cake covered in yellow butter cream and decorated with bees and a mini bunting. The cake is the center of the shower and the moment of reveal of the sex of the baby!
Darling stationery by Lulliloo Paperie brought the honeybee theme to life with envelope liners, cards shaped like bee hives, etc! Even a game of “guess the gender of the baby” was played.

I want to have one of these parties! Too bad I’m not pregnant and don’t plan on getting pregnant any time soon! lol I’ve seen a couple gender reveal parties with the “What Will it Bee” theme, but it’s usually the yellow and black. I love this palette!

It all looks so cute and fabulous! I was debating between the What will it Bee or the Waddle it Be (Duck themed) but I think the Bee one is easier to do. Plus it’s so adorable.
This party is stunning. I love the colour palette, it’s so calming. The bees are totally gorgeous too!
