Black, White, & Green Texas Wedding Showcase
Elegant Texas Wedding
This Texas wedding is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Thank you to Aves Photographic Design for sharing this wedding with us and for introducing us to an incredibly amazing couple Lauren & Chris! Lauren and Chris got married in the summer in Lauren’s hometown, Colleyville, Texas. Lauren comes from an incredibly close family, so it was important to her that she was able to get ready in her childhood room along with her twin sister Karin and her girlfriends and family. I love that Lauren says that was “such a great family memory and a perfect way to start the day!”
Read on for the pretty details!
Lauren & Chris are just the cutest couple, and their wedding was stylish to boot! Lauren wanted to wear a wedding gown that was timeless and chic, and she was STUNNING. I also love that the bridesmaids wore dresses from White House Black Market, they are totally re-wearable and her bridal party looks fabulous in them! Chris and Lauren wanted to make their wedding a story about them.
I love brides who fall in love with the details of the wedding and Lauren says “ I feel like all of the flowers, details, pictures…everything was a reflection of what I think about our relationship.” That is absolutely what your wedding day should feel like!
You can just tell that the guests had an absolute amazing time at this wedding! Lauren & Chris, congratulations on your wedding, it was BEAUTIFUL, and we just love that you shared your wedding with us!
And look at what Chris’s groomsmen did during the wedding kiss! I absolutely died over this creative and fun twist!

I first MUST preface my comment by saying I might be a little bias because I adore Katie and Courtney so basically anything they post, to me, here or there will be beautiful. Now if you know me, I am not easily impressed. Don’t take as snobbery. However, this wedding is the epitome of elegant simplicity. It has all the elements of a classic and timeless wedding. Years from now you will not be able to tell what year this took place. From her dress to the decor and the car is perfect. It is not crammed with the latest wedding fads. I’m impressed. It in my humble opinion is perfect.
Aw sweet Naomi. How I adore you!
So true about the timeless aspect. You know when you bookmark your own website, you love it :) This is EXACTLY what I want my wedding to look like. I love green, I love the moss, I love the “garden” feel but not too colors everywhere – the simple black/white/green is absolutely perfect. My favorite wedding to date.
I love the striking green flowers. There’s something so whimsical about the tone…lovely wedding!
Wow! Absolutely stunning!

What a gorgeous event! I LOVE green and white flowers–actually did white with a bit of green at my wedding, so it brings back great memories too. The details are so fabulous, as are the photos and I love the personal details they incorporated. Thanks so much for sharing it.
Loving this green!
Great color palette! Love this wedding.
Stunning! This wedding is pure elegance.
This is absolutely gorgeous! Just posted and linked back here:-) LOVE!
I absolutely love how the bride incorporated elements from her mother, grandmother and mother-in-law’s weddings into her own! It’s such a beautiful way to bring both families together.
I love your wedding program. Did you make them yourself? If not where did you get them?
