Host a Mardi Gras Party
Mardi Gras is French for “Fat Tuesday” and it is the last day of feasting before Lent begins on Ash Wednesday. This year Mardi Gras is on March 8th.

Let the GOOD TIMES roll. No Mardi Gras celebration would be complete without a small bite from a King Cake. King Cakes are a holiday tradition around the world, including the celebration for the Twelfth Night and Carnival. The King Cake tradition involves a small plastic baby ~ hidden inside the cake and the person that gets the slice with the baby has good luck for a year. There are many versions of this story but this is the one I like. The cake is topped with icing and three colored sugars – purple represents justice, green for fatih and gold the power.
