I‘ve been in love with the idea of “signature cocktails” for quite some time. They’re a unique way to add a touch of “you” to a party by serving your favorite drink or enhance the theme of the party by serving up a coordinating cocktail. Weddings are a great event for signature cocktails (have the bartenders pre-pour several trays of your signature cocktail so guests can pick them right up). With my wedding around the corner (JUNE 23!), I’m doing lots of thinking about signature cocktails…my own signature cocktail idea is not below (hey, I gotta keep some things a secret) but these are neat ideas that I just love!
Whether you choose a brand new cocktail or serve up one of your classic favorites, give it a twist whether it be a rock candy swizzle stick or a matching striped straw! These little things will make a big difference and leave guests talking about how darling your cocktails were! You can even tie bows around the stems of glassware or rim the glasses in a fancy sugar. One of my favorite tips is to have napkins printed with the cocktail recipe on them so guests can take it home!
