Festive Holiday Tablescape with Popcorn

Festive Holiday Tablescape with Popcorn Trees

I’m SO excited to share this holiday tablescape with you! I’ve been waiting to share all the fun details from this shoot with G.H. Cretors Popped Corn. We fully transformed a holiday table into popcorn heaven, and I’ve never been happier! Popcorn isn’t typically the first food you think of when sitting down to a dinner party, but that’s all changed. I’m sharing how to not only add it to a luxe charcuterie board but also use it as centerpiece décor as well!

Let’s start with the basics of the holiday table. I love the cozy reds and natural wood textures. I combined these with touches of gold and marble for a luxe feel that’s perfect for this festive time of year. On either side of the sleigh centerpiece are marble charcuterie boards for easy-to-grab appetizers while sitting with friends or family. All the typical favorites are there – from meats and cheeses to dried fruits and nuts – but I added in little bowls of uniquely flavored popcorn like Organic Chile Jalapeno White Cheddar and Just the Caramel Corn. Find all the G.H. Cretors Popped Corn flavors here and pick your own favorites, you’ll even spot Organic Dill Pickle for pickle lovers! I love that it adds a bit of salty (and sometimes sweet in the case of caramel corn) to the mix.

We also made gorgeous popcorn trees dusted with powdered sugar for a snowy touch. They’re super easy to make and I’ve included photos here to give you a visual on covering a craft Styrofoam tree with popcorn using a hot glue gun (this tree is just for looking). Then dust with powdered sugar. You could even add bows or ribbon twirling down the tree if you fancy a little more flair!

Last up was the magnificent sleigh sitting in the centerpiece of the tablescape. My mother always talks about little paper cones filled with popcorn that her own mother had hanging on their Christmas tree, so we decided to make them to tuck down into the sleigh along with fresh greenery for a quick “grab and go” favor for guests.

I hope you’re inspired to take one (or all!) of these ideas and recreate them for your own holiday season. My two favorite takeaways? You’d be surprised how popular popcorn is on a charcuterie board AND don’t forget to tuck in fresh greenery down your tablescape. With these two tips, you’ll be well on your way to entertaining in style this holiday season!
