UNIQUE WAYS TO DECORATE WITH ORNAMENTS
Who is knee deep in ornament hooks and gift lists? Anyone else? I’m with you, friends, so I’m hear to share a few little tips for utilizing all those ornaments that doesn’t involve fighting with your three year old over where they should go on the tree. I absolutely adore ornaments, but I feel like the Christmas tree gets all the love. I’m here with a few fellow blogging rockstars to change all that you know about ornaments. They can be used in so many elegant ways! Frontgate recently featured us as we shared how we decorate with ornaments, and we thought y’all might like to see these ideas too! You ready?!
First up is from yours truly (top photo). Simply place an ornament in the center of your plate for a festive touch to any tablescape! See more from this glitzy tablescape here!
I adore Bishop & Holland’s use of French blue ornaments as both an unexpected centerpiece as well as place card holder. Ornaments are such a great place card holder (you’ll also see that idea over at the Sleigh Girl Sleigh event I hosted last month). They make a great favor for guests to take home too! My friends at Palm Beach Lately are so creative, and I love how they added eucalyptus leaves as well as the ornaments on their chandelier. The centerpiece doesn’t always have to be on the table as you can see here. This is simply stunning! See more from Palm Beach Lately here!
How stunning are these hanging centerpiece ornaments from Kelly of bluegraygal? I love the airy tree and the fresh modern spin on a centerpiece. Don’t you? I’m so inspired to recreate this look this holiday season!
Next up is a fabulous little trick from Lynlee of Gal About Town. She tucks away festive holiday ornaments in areas of her home that don’t traditionally have a lot of decorations. So add a few to your bar cart, sideboard, fill decorative vases or bowls, you get the idea!
The Makerista filled a bowl with simple metallic ornaments. It’s such a simple yet elegant look that will go with any decorative styles. Whether you place it on a coffee table, side board, or even in a bathroom or bedroom, the touch of holiday will add a festive ambiance throughout your home!
I hope you’re inspired to use ornaments in new and unexpected ways this holiday season! Whether they’re hanging from the chandelier or filling a bowl on your bar cart, there are so many ways to add festive touches throughout your home with beautiful ornaments as decor.
