I have always been quite a big fan of mojitos. I love the classic mojito but put a twist on it? Yes, please! This grapefruit mojito is my latest mojito recipe, and I’m so excited to share it. It’s easy to make, delicious, and perfect for entertaining. Serve it up as a signature cocktail at your next party!

Grapefruit, fresh mint, and lime combine to make the most refreshing grapefruit mojito cocktail. Fresh mint leaves are a staple of every mojito. Mint is actually quite easy to grow and perfect for garnishing cocktails, salads, and desserts. You can also find it at most grocery stores!

How to Make a Grapefruit Mojito

Making a flavored mojito is really just a simple twist on the classic. You can add just a touch of grapefruit by garnishing with grapefruit wedges, but I really love the flavor (and gorgeous color) of adding pure grapefruit juice to this mojito. It’s not too sweet, but you can certainly add additional simple syrup (or superfine sugar) for a sweeter drink.

If you don’t have a cocktail shaker, just use a pitcher or large glass and stir well. You’ll still make an absolutely delicious grapefruit mojito!

How to Make Simple Syrup:

Also, to make simple syrup, add equal parts water and sugar to a saucepan. Heat until sugar has dissolved (mixture is clear). Remove from heat and allow to cool. You can keep simple syrup refrigerated in an airtight container for up to a month.
