Peppermint Holiday Dinner Party

If you’ve followed me on Instagram this holiday season, you’ve likely seen me sing the praises for the peppermint cookie truffles from Lindt. These little bites of chocolate heaven are a must for a holiday dinner party treat!

Even my non-peppermint-loving husband can’t keep his hand out of the bag. They’re they perfect gift for friends or teachers, and they make the perfect accompaniment to a twinkling peppermint holiday dinner party!

Peppermint Cookie Truffle Lindt

I love the idea of a themed holiday dinner party! There are so many fabulous holiday themes, but this one tied in perfectly with my favorite holiday truffle flavor.

Setting a Peppermint Holiday Dinner Party

I placed little fluted glass bowls of the LINDOR Peppermint Cookie Truffles throughout the table so they were in reach of all the dinner party guests. They would also make a fabulous favor idea to set a bag at each place setting.

I mixed mine in with LINDOR Milk Chocolate Truffles which are a classic favorite as well.

The red and green are the perfect color combination for this peppermint dinner party. They add a “sweet” little touch to a holiday dinner party!

I scattered fresh greenery as well as a few small green trees down the center of my tablescape.

We even added a few DIY style greenery trees by attaching greenery around a styrofoam cone shape.

Christmas Table Setting

Try to vary the heights and styles of the trees to create a unique centerpiece! If your green trees are small, you could also display them on a clear cake stand for height.

I wove strands of small twinkling lights along with white votive candles! I loved the glowing ambiance.

It’s still festive and fun for all ages but sophisticated enough for an adult holiday dinner party.

For the napkins, I tied them with red and white striped “peppermint” ribbon and tucked down in a mini strand of greenery. This is a super simple way to jazz up white cloth napkins for the holidays.

LINDOR Peppermint Cookie Truffles

I love the little jars of LINDOR Peppermint Cookie Truffles! There are a few other ways I plan to use them throughout the season such as baking them into cupcakes and making a Peppermint Cookie Truffle Milkshake! YUM!

  4. Hi Mary Beth,
This is my favorite tablescape! It looks perfect.
The little touch of gold by way of the flatware is genius! Can you please let me know where did you buy those ? I was scouring the internet and they were either too expensive($200-for a 4 piece) and the ones which were affordable had poor reviews( handles chip, polish fades away in 6 months). Where did you buy yours and have they withstood the test of time?
    Thanks!

  5. This is the prettiest table setting ever! You are so creative
