Jennifer, owner of Posh Tot Events, shared some of the details of the BUNNY HOP: “Following on the heels of our successful Valentines Day Tea party, we held another sold out event – a “Bunny Hop” for children and their parents at our party spot in Historic Roswell. There was a tempting candy buffet where the children were invited to fill a basket to take home as well as an informal egg hunt. Treat filled eggs were left all over the room for the children to find. We had cake pops shaped as eggs, jelly beans, peeps and colored m&ms as well as mini servings of chocolate pudding with little straws and we served lemonade in vintage style coca cola bottles with paper straws.”

Activities: We set up three stations for activities that included: decorating Easter cookies, decorating the baskets they would fill at the candy buffet and making spring flowers out of egg containers and pipe cleaners, The activities kept the kids very engaged and are all easy to assemble and facilitate at any casual family gathering. The egg containers were just berry containers that can be found at a farmers market or purchased online.

The kids were also treated to some fabulous face painting which is always a hit.

The Easter Bunny paid a visit and we set up a photo booth area for them to meet and greet and have their photo taken. The Bunny stayed after all pictures were taken when we cranked up the Radio Disney Tunes, turned on the disco light and shook his tail to Justin Beiber and Selena Gomez with the little Bunny Hoppers into the afternoon.

For décor we kept it simple with a pallet of cheerful spring colors and fabrics and flowers and grass. The focus was on activities here but we decorated the tables using cheerful overlays and “placemats” that were actually laminated paper napkins – and easy and reusable way to add color and patterns to any kids table.
