Happy 4th Birthday to Pizzazzerie!
GUESS WHAT!? Pizzazzerie turns 4 this weekend (March 16th to be exact)! I am OH SO THRILLED to celebrate 4 years. It certainly doesn’t feel like it has been 4 years. I launched the site March 16th, 2010 and quit my full-time job July 2010 to go full-time with the site! It has come a LONG way since those early days, but my passion for bringing you entertaining + party food ideas has stayed strong.
Here are a few of the Pizzazzerie accomplishments from the past 4 years…I’m like a proud mama!
- Published Push-Up Pops (2012), Candy Making For Kids (2012), & Frostings (2013)
- Styling for some amazing companies + clients including Martha Stewart (and blogger feature), Better Homes & Gardens, HGTV, Ladies Home Journal, Women’s World, The Huffington Post and brands including Target, Pier 1, ConAgra, Frito-Lay, Pepperidge Farm, Bacardi, Hershey, Michaels, and more!
So turning 4 meant I had to have a little party – only fitting right? Come along and check it out…
I love the pink, orange, and white! And of course, a touch of glitter + gold! Jumbo sprinkles and matching confetti make for a fabulous cake!
Operation add a few more sprinkles and cut a slice: COMMENCE!
HOORAY! Thank you to every single reader for allowing me to live out my passion as a career! I cannot thank you enough for giving me the chance to create for you on a daily basis. I’m truly honored to have readers and followers who enjoy my projects + recipes! Here’s to starting year 5 off with a bang (or at least a huge piece of vanilla cake)!
Here are a few shots of projects + shoots from the last 4 years that I’m oh so proud of!
4th Birthday Party Details
To recreate the look above, simply make (or order from your favorite bakery) a white on white cake! Add on jumbo sprinkles in your color scheme (mine are Wilton seen here in orange + pink). I used matching orange and pink paper confetti from The Flair Exchange for more touches of color! The fabric was bought from a local store here in Nashville, TN (visit your fabric store for inspiration). The gold glittered “4” cake topper is from michiemay! Cake was served up on mini Kate Spade polka dot plates with white forks from Party City (loves these forks)!
Pretty excited to have a little baby girl to help me celebrate Pizzazzerie’s 5th birthday next year!
Go out & have a FANTASTIC WEEKEND! Check back next week for some super cute ideas + round of new posts!

Yes I love the orange and pink combination too. I want to say that i love your site and the ideas you have are so amazing. You truly inspire me with your blog and the success and everything. You seem like a nice person and I am happy for you and your baby girl to be! Yeah I look to your blog for inspiration and how amazing the success you know have. How did you do it so well. Are there any tips you would or could recommend? I know that your photos for one are a major contributor and your ideas of course. Heck I would even be interested in a tutorial course or something. I know decor 8 has some courses. They are another one of my faves. Thanks for creating this blog and I am excited for all the ideas you have.
