Airplanes Birthday Party

We are THRILLED to share this COLORFUL and FUN Airplanes Birthday Party that Sarah de Jesus of Sarah De Jesus of Dreamers Joy Events & Design sent us!  Sarah’s nephew, Jaxon, was turning 2 and absolutely loves airplanes and being outdoors. Naturally, Sarah took the airplane idea and ran with it, adding in parachutes to bring color and even more FUN to this adorable party!

Using the color from the bright parachutes as an accent, Sarah used blue, green and white as her colors for the party.  Centerpieces were made out of white plastic vases embellished with green and blue ric-rac ribbon and a cute number 2 circle from the set of printables. Each vase held an airplane and cloud cutouts that Sarah traced and cut out.

The dessert table added even more charm to this adorable airplane party! An adorable 3-D parachuting boy hung from the air, getting ready to make his landing on all of the cute and yummy treats! Sarah used the tops of small umbrellas to serve as “parachutes” and suspended them from fishing line.  The boy, which Sarah hand-painted, was attached with white strings and glue dots.  All of this sat in front of a backdrop of blue sky and clouds made of paper!

Doubling as a fun activity and party decor, parachutes and a hopscotch board were drawn in colorful sidewalk chalk.  An adventure tent and parachute also added to the theme and fun!

Bird’s Party designed all of the printables and invitation for this airplanes party, giving the perfect finishing touch on the party decor!  To top it all off, the two-tier cake, complete with parachuter and airplane and airplane sugar cookies were made by Jennifer at The Hudson Cakery.  The adorable cupcake toppers were designed by Lynlee of Lynlee’s Petite Cakes.  What an adorable spread!
