Colorful Sweet Shoppe Birthday Party!

Sweet Shoppe Birthday Party! Sweet Shoppe parties are one of my favorite themes. It’s easy to see why – they’re so SWEET! BluGrass Designs sent over this darling party she styled up, and I just love the bright colors and details. See the cute banner above? I love the frame shapes (a nice + different twist from traditional bunting). I also ADORE the gumball machine cookies (see below). I wish I had the talent of cookie artists these days, wowza!

How cute are the pixy stix fairy wands?! What a great idea!  She attached a tulle pom pom with ribbon on top of a giant pixy stix. The girls loved them (naturally). I love how Paula used chevron patter and bright colors for the graphics. The sweets table had treats including candy coated chocolates, salt water taffy, swirl lollipops, beautiful and delicious gumball machine cookies and cupcakes, & lollipop topiary. She even made fake candy cotton! Here’s how: “using ecoSnow (the green alternative of polyfill) and in a spray bottle I mixed water and food coloring, sprayed into the fiber let it dry and the result… real looking candy cotton! I tried to use spray paint but it didn’t work as well as the food coloring and water.” Fun idea!
