“Sweet as Pie” 1st Birthday Party

sweet as pie first birthday party

Pies are no doubt here to stay as a new popular treat for parties. This “SWEET AS PIE” first birthday party for little Emerie one of the sweetest we have featured! Submitted by Emerie’s mom Amy Gaerthofner of Ardent Photo, we instantly fell in love with the soft pink hues and sweet as pie theme. Little Emerie was born on “Pi Day” (3.14) so this was a clever little twist to that day. Sweet mini pie pops were served along with numerous other delicious little goodies for all the party guests.

Some of my favorite elements are the white milk glass dishes, pink satin bows (ribbon makes everything a little bit sweeter!), pink pretzels, and pink striped straws! Our sponsor Shop Sweet Lulu sells pink striped straws if you are looking for some for an upcoming party! I love using striped straws not only for their drinks but also as signs (just glue your place card to the top and stick the straw down in a vase).
