Twin’s 1st Birthday: One Year in a FLASH!

Clever and unique birthday themes are my FAVORITE. I love the typical Princess, Fairy, Cars, etc themes too but parties like this (ONE YEAR IN A FLASH) just take the cake! This photographer mom (Lotus Blossom Photography) found this perfect theme while browsing Pinterest. Amber (mom) shared, “I’m a wedding photographer and spent a substantial chunk of their first year obsessively documenting their life through photos.” This theme definitely fit!

Since the girls’ birthday is in October, Amber chose a PINK & ORANGE color scheme (cute!) so of course, she got to incorporate pumpkins! I love the “C&A” pumpkin she made.

Mom used printed photos and vintage cameras as the main decorations. She made lots of crafty + DIY elements to the party including the hanging pink initials.

DOOR DECOR: Sparkly pink letters from Hobby Lobby were connected with a chipboard ampersand covered in buttons and a few wooden cameras. Cute! 
PARTY HATS: These were actually “princess” hats from Target with a paper pinwheel and a chipboard “1” attached. Clever!
CUPCAKE TOPPERS: She picked up the cute little pennants from Target and attached mini wooden cameras to keep with the theme!

Other party crafts included the monogramed pumpkin,  camera favor tags, glittered pumpkins, time capsule and photo booth signage, photo booth back drop, high chair ribbons, 12 month photo display, Happy Birthday banner, table “runners” made with gift wrap, personalized Orange Crush soda labels, Cupcake toppers with the girls’ smiling faces, and rows and rows of photos hung around the room!

The photo backdrop of orange + pink is super cute too! Photo booths really do create the funniest pictures that will surely be saved for years as a memory of this fun party! Happy Birthday to the Twins!
