Pink + Gold 2014 New Year’s Eve Party!

We are over the moon for this Pink and Gold New Year’s Eve Party with touches of my personal favorite – black and white stripes! Making Me Events teamed up with my friend Jen of Blush Printables for what is easily one of my favorite NYE Parties! From the gold 2014 balloons to the mini pink polka dot popcorn cups, we are smitten with the details. It’s always the details that truly take a great party to a dynamite design. Who else is ready to ring in the New Year in style? We just love this party. The gold glittered champagne bottles? Oh my gracious, I’m now ready to glitter everything within sight. “I believe that great design is about telling a well crafted story through pretty details.When my gal pal Jen, from  Blush Printables asked me if I’d like to do a New Year’s Eve styled Photoshoot centered around Pop, Fizz, Clink I was instantly on board. Together we started dreaming up a story line and we filled in the details with stationery, party supplies, and a few DIY projects as we went along. Being new to Texas I knew that I wanted this photoshoot to be one that I could share with my new girlfriends, so unlike many of the past ones I’ve orchestrated I stepped in front of the camera with two very dear friends. I mean who doesn’t like getting dolled up on a Sunday afternoon, eating cake, and drinking champagne?

I set the stage poolside (because in Texas it’s warm, even in December and I’m ok with that!) and used my lovely bar cart that I got for a steal (curbside free) and brought back to life myself. I began layering on the pretty props, party supplies, and stationery and it was all that I had imagined and more.
