Set a Spring Tablescape (Blues and Greens)

It’s no surprise that I love tablescapes, especially in the spring when the temperatures are warming up and all the beautiful flowers are blooming. Come get inspired to set your own spring table with this pastel blue and green spring tablescape with pops of flowers and greenery.

Spring Tablescape

Spring Tablescape

Spring is the perfect time to tap into your inner tablescape queen. Truly, if you have always wanted to have a beautifully set table, spring brings so many gorgeous florals that make setting a table during this season a breeze.

Set a spring table to enjoy for…

  • Easter Brunch
  • Mother’s Day
  • Special Weekend Family Dinner
  • Spring Birthdays

I always suggest picking 2 to 3 colors as a starting point for a color scheme to help guide you as you choose table linens and florals. I absolutely love soft blues and pastel greens with pops of brighter fern green.

Blue and Green Spring Tablescape

Blue and Green Block-Print Tablecloth

I’ve always loved block print style patterns, especially this gorgeous pattern from Danika Herrick that I had made into a tablecloth from Spoonflower. It’s a tablecloth I know I’ll pull out time and time again because it’s so pretty and has the perfect hues to enjoy all spring and summer long!

Spring Place Setting

For the place setting, I layered my favorite Serena and Lily Round Rattan Placemats with an octagonal white dinner plates (I’ve had for years) and topped them with my very favorite piece of this spring tablescape, the gorgeous Lily of the Valley salad plates from The Enchanted Home and Carolyn Roehm collection.

For the napkins, I chose a soft pastel green pinstripe. I love blending shades of green together. Here are very similar napkins from Amazon.

The aqua stemmed glasses are from my mother’s collection. I’m really love colored glassware on tablescapes lately, it adds such a beautiful pop of color!

Spring Centerpiece

I kept the table very simple with a few vases of white tulips and botanical touches with ferns. You don’t *need* huge bouquets of flowers for a beautiful spring tablescape! Simple white florals in vases you already own can make such a statement!

Or drop small ferns right down in little vases or pots and display them on your table! After the party, you can give them a new home in a kitchen window, coffee table or a nightstand.

Floral Tip

Grocery stores (like Trader Joe’s!) have fabulous selections of florals, especially in the spring! Take them up a notch by adding in sprigs of greenery right from your garden or backyard. Fern and Nandina are two of my favorites. I clip fern sprigs from my porch ferns all spring and summer to add a charming touch to simple florals.

For the candles, I added these charming spiral taper candles in soft sea-foam blue in my vintage brass candlestick holders (an etsy find years ago). The candles come in several other colors and add a touch of whimsy to any tablescape!

I really love how this simple and charming spring tablescape came together. It’s budget friendly (use vases you already own, use simple white dinner plates) and perfect for enjoying a special meal with friends and family.
