With two little girls, I’ll admit I have a love for pink in my decor and tables. I’ve been wanting to decorate a table in beautiful purple hues for quite some time, however, and spring is the perfect excuse!

Spring Table Decorations

Set a gorgeous spring tablescape!

This table setting is so simple and perfect for everything from luncheons and spring parties to a casual weekend dinner with your family. My mom always set a gorgeous table for dinner, and it’s a tradition I aim to continue with my family. Do you “set the table” with linens and placemats for your family?

The Table Linens

I absolutely love the table linens from Lindroth Designs. The green patterns are all so perfect for pairing with any accent colors for spring. If you’re looking for a spring table runner or tablecloth, green is a fabulous base color that you can reuse each year with different accent colors with flowers.

I’m a sucker for all things gingham so these lavender gingham napkins with rickrack trim are a personal favorite! These were a lucky HomeGoods find, but I’ll update here if I find any similar ones online.

P.S. If you want to know how I store all my linens and napkins, take a tour of my party prop room!

The Place Settings

I love the natural touch of cane on the placemats (originally from Pottery Barn), and you can achieve a similar look with a rattan placemat. I find myself pulling out my cane and rattan placemats all year long! They’re such a great staple if you’re just getting started with your table “essentials”.

The cabbage leaf plates remind me of my grandmother, they give a vintage look to any spring place setting. They’re perfectly “grandmillenial” and I love how they can be paired with any color scheme. You can find similar Bordallo Pinheiro Cabbage Leaf Plates here!

The purple flower plates belonged to my mother, and she’s had them for years. We topped them with the lavender gingham napkins, crystal napkin rings and a purple tulip.

Crystal Waterford stemware is paired with gorgeous green and white swirled wine glasses. I’m always on the lookout for pretty stemware!

The Spring Table Centerpiece

Spring is all about the blooming flowers after a long winter! You can never go wrong putting the “focus on floral” with a spring table centerpiece.

I wanted to highlight my love for beautiful blooms with a simple yet pretty floral spring centerpiece. No need for expensive florals or elaborate centerpieces, these are a collection of grocery store flowers. Yep, that’s right! If you keep your eye out, you’ll find beautiful florals without breaking the bank!

What I love about spring table decorations is that you can easily add a few Easter touches like bunnies or eggs to carry your tablescape all the way through Easter! Need more Easter table inspiration? I have you covered!

I hope you’re inspired to set a pretty spring tablescape!

  1. Absolutely love this color combination. So pretty and “springy”. I love the gingham napkins. My mother always set a pretty table and I have followed her example, but unfortunately my daughter and grandkids don’t even seem to notice. Oh well, I enjoy it! I envy your storage space. I have tons of holiday and seasonal decor, but due to a lack of space it’s all in totes in my basement. I lug the totes up with each new season/holiday and swap out items for that time of year.

    1. Thanks Gail! I will admit that growing up, I’m sure I paid zero attention to my mother’s tablescapes, but it must have been having an impact because I quite literally have made them my job. So you never know what impact you might be having! Perhaps they’ll end up loving it when they grow up because they sat at our pretty holiday tables! xoxo
