Apple Pie Themed Dessert Party!

I‘m super excited that fall is right around the corner! I can already smell all the caramel, pumpkin, and APPLE flavors in the air. My family and friends are all huge apple lovers. Apple pie. Apple crisp. Apple turnovers. We don’t discriminate. So when I was stopping in at Sam’s Club the other day and walked up to the holy grail of apple-themed treats, I knew just what theme I wanted to style! An apple pie themed dessert party! Apple everything all the time, please and thank you. Who doesn’t love a gorgeous dessert table? Let’s take a look at the party pics, shall we?

I printed out simple pennant flags on my computer with apple sayings and used real twigs for a rustic, fall look. This was a simple addition that all the guests really noticed. I had “An Apple a Day“, “It’s an Apple Party” and my personal fave – “Sit for a Slice“! I’m offering the pennants as a free printable (see bottom of post)!

I was so impressed with how delicious all the treats were, the selection, and the reasonable prices at Sam’s Club. Score! It makes it so much easier for parties when I’m able to grab everything I need at one place! I picked up an apple lattice pie, a smaller traditional apple pie, apple crisp, and apple turnovers in the bakery section. Then I headed to drinks and grabbed another family favorite – apple juice! A dash of sparkling water added in makes for quite a refreshing beverage. Lastly, I grabbed lots of apples in the produce section for decoration! Everyone was in total apple bliss at the party – especially the kids! 

I jazzed up the apple beverages with easy “apple rings”. I love an easy garnish for drinks. This garnish couldn’t be simpler. You just slice an apple at its thickest point – very thinly! Use a knife to make one slice to the center. Slide it onto the side of glasses. Sprinkle the slices with lemon juice and wrap in a slightly damp paper towel until ready to serve so they won’t brown. Ta-da! Pretty apple beverages!
