Fave Finds: Stylish Parties in a Box!

As life gets busier with kids in the mix, I’m always on the hunt for ways to still entertain but cut down on the time it takes to pull together a gorgeous tablescape. I know many of you are the same way! You scroll through Pinterest and love it all but how do you actually do it all? Where do you find all the cute items? What are the best shops to source all of it? Sometimes it’s just too much trouble and you scratch the whole idea.

Enter Elliewood, a new entertaining resource founded by three busy ladies who met at UVA’s Darden School of Business. They were tired of trolling party supply stores and needed an extra stylish hand when it came to hosting beautiful at-home parties. Stylish parties in a box! Sounds right down our alley, so I just had to share their darling designs with you!

The concept is simple; you envision your perfect gathering, shop the assortment of themed entertaining collections, and receive all the pre-styled place setting elements (most of them recyclable, all of them Pinterest-worthy) – complete with set-up instructions and expert styling tips – delivered right to your door. Um, party at my place tomorrow? You can shop it a la carte or as a party-in-a-box style. I like the box style but the ability to add on additional items like plates to accommodate your party crowd.

My favorite is the Potter Party! It’s a darling children’s animal print with lots of subtle pops of color. It includes some of my favorite designers like Meri Meri, Kate Aspen, Susty Party, etc. Everything has been pulled together already, and it’s so cute!

I’ve been loving all things blue and white lately (the #blueandwhite hashtag on Instagram is full of fabulous inspiration by the way) so this Holden party had me ooh-ing and aah-ing! What I also love is that you can embellish with your own touches. Mix and match! It just gets you started with a color scheme, basic party items, etc. Then you can follow the party in a box or go out on a limb and get creative. The option is yours!
