Sparkling Apple Cider Sangria
Looking for the perfect fall party drink? I love this sparkling apple cider sangria for so many reasons! Party drinks (or really any drink) need to be EASY to make.
You have a million other things to deal with (appetizers, greeting guests, getting the table set up, etc) that finding time to fuss with a cocktail is just silly. But you still want to serve something totally delicious, right? Yes, mam!
I love seasonally themed drinks because they fit so well with all the holidays during the season. For fall it’s cooler air, gorgeous colors, and delicious fall flavors like apple and cinnamon! These were my inspiration for this sparkling apple cider sangria!
Plus, I love any excuse to sip out of fun glasses! I love unique champagne glasses or cocktail glassware in general.
Tips for Making Apple Cider Sangria
I love easy cocktails. Now, I mention it in the recipe card at the end of the post, but you can absolutely either omit the Disaronno or switch it to cognac if you prefer. It’s up to you!
Another idea? Set up an “apple cider sangria” bar with all the mix-ins and let party guests whip up their own flavors. Set out fruits like apple slices, orange slices, pear slices, etc. Then add a variety of liquors plus a few garnishes too (cinnamon sticks and fun straws)! This would make the perfect bar cart set-up, don’t you think?
Making ahead of time?
If you need to make your apple cider sangria in advance, pour everything together in a large pitcher except for the champagne. You want to add that right before you serve it so it stays bubbly!
Garnishing Your Drinks
I love serving this autumn sangria recipe with sliced apple wedges and a cinnamon stick for stirring.
You could even add orange slices or pears for a fun flavor twist. Whatever you have around the house is perfect. That’s the beauty of sangria!

I could sip on this drink all day! I think it would also make a perfect “signature cocktail” for fall weddings, bridal showers, or other special celebrations. Â
Now go grab those ingredients and whip up a pitcher. I made you a fun little graphic below if you are at the grocery and forget what you need. <wink> Cheers!

What a fun cocktail! Love those glasses too!
wow, good recipes… cocktail me too love this :D nice.
Are these the champagne flutes or a different glassware?
They’re not necessarily flutes, moreso just a general cocktail glass. I THINK I got them at Rosanna Inc.
Thanks for sharing this recipe. Love the fact that all you have to do is combine the ingredients and stir to make this beautiful drink. Thanks again.
How many does this serve?
Could you prepare this sangria in advance (night before), and if so, do you add the club soda few hours before serving?
And do you hold the champagne as well until right before serving?
Thank you again!
Yes, hold the champagne until right before serving!
How do you adjust the amount of ingredients for a two gallon pitcher?
I’ll be making this for Halloween movie night! Thank you for making non-intimidating cocktail recipes!
Thanks Shelby!! Hope you love it as much as I do!
