Anything nautical is.my.fave. Seriously! I love every variation of nautical (here is a Cape Cod style I designed) and I REALLY love this Nautical Brunch submitted by Cristina of Via Blossom! I just love the color scheme and the decorations? Spot on. Cristina lived on the coast of Maine for 8 years was inspired to style a brunch reminiscent of her family summer days spent sailing, strolling and biking around lobster fish towns like Bar Harbor and Camden. She truly pulled out the feel of Maine in this fabulous brunch! Many of the items used came from her cute shop Via Blossom so check it out if you love the party details…
So many of the details are adorable! Like the kids’ outfits? Perfectly matching. Cupcake toppers? Couldn’t be cuter! This is the perfect nautical brunch that family and friends surely will remember for years to come. Read on for details from Cristina!

FOOD & DECOR
“The focal point of the table was a gorgeous Sail Boat placed on a Vanilla- Raspberry cake. I framed it by hanging a yellow flag banner that added a pop of color to the red, blue and white tablescape. I use many props like a Fisherman figurine, a wooden anchor, life guards and lobster buoys that I have been collecting from antique shops or small gift shops to create a true nautical atmosphere.
I tied nautical knots on the Hobnail Cake Stands where vanilla Cupcakes were displayed. Nautical bowls filled with tri-color popcorn displayed red, blue and yellow candle torches. I love how the Hot air Balloon Paper lantern gave the table a nostalgic feel.
The food served consisted of savory and sweet bite size treats. I use Petite Cups to showcase chocolate chip mini Cheesecakes, lemon Petite Fours, mini cream cheese tomato- chives sandwiches and Quiche Lorraine. The Fruit Salads was served in square mini glasses.” – Cristina
