Are you decorating your table for the 4th of July? If you’re looking for inspiration for a festive red, white and blue party table, you’ve come to the right place! Even if you don’t invite a crowd over, setting a July 4th party table for your own family is such a fun way to celebrate the holiday. Bring on the stars and stripes!
July 4th Party Tablescape
For this festive table, I started out with a blue and white striped tablecloth. This was just fabric from my local fabric store turned into a tablecloth with the help of some no-sew hem tape (one of my favorite entertaining tricks).
I used blue and white ginger jars from around my house for the centerpiece, filled with white hydrangeas. Use any type of white flower to achieve a similar look!
Simple white dinner plates were topped with red and white buffalo check napkins and blue and white plates. The plates are Ralph Lauren, found at HomeGoods.
Always stock up on little American flags from craft stores. You can use the flags to decorate the top of each place setting and set down in flower arrangements. They’re such a quick and inexpensive way to take a simple table to 4th of July perfection! I pull mine out to use every year!
This table above is from a couple of years ago, but you can see the similar design for how to decorate a 4th of July table! I used similar red and blue buffalo check napkins and tucked in a mini American flag!
Don’t be afraid to mix and match patterns! Stars, stripes, checks, etc. They all will blend beautifully if they’re in the same color scheme.
I adore the light blue twist on this classic July 4th tablescape, it gives it a nautical vibe that is so summery and pretty! See more from this Patriotic July 4th Tablescape HERE!
