How it’s already time for the 4th of July, I truly have no idea, but I can tell you that these 4 ideas are at the top of my faves list for the holiday! If you’re hosting a large party or just celebrating with your family, make it a special day of celebration! I just landed back in the states from a week in Europe with my family, and now I’m jumping headfirst into decorating for the 4th of July! Here are a few of my favorite ideas…
First up are these patriotic ice cream cones from my friend Cyd of The Sweetest Occasion! I get to see her in Texas just a few days after the 4th, and I’m so excited! She always has the neatest ideas. Wouldn’t these be the biggest hit with the kids (AND adults)?
For the perfect patriotic appetizer, create your own star-shaped “chips” from tortillas and pair with your favorite dips! See more pics and get the recipe for my Cheese & Onion Dip here! You can also keep it simple and use store-bought dips to pair with your homemade star-shaped chips!
You know I wouldn’t leave you without a festive cocktail idea, right? I love these July 4th Fruit Ice Champagne Cocktails from Kirbie’s Cravings! Hop over to see how she makes them. Wouldn’t these be fabulous in punch-bowl style as well?
While I enjoy a classic pie on the 4th (here’s a Cast Iron Apple Pie that I love), everyone loves brownies so why not make a Brownie Flag for the 4th of July? Grab the recipe for this beauty from Spicy Southern Kitchen!
Which one of these 4 ideas is your favorite? They’re all tied at the top for me which means I’ll need to make all of them for next Tuesday, right? That sounds like a good idea. I plan on making this the most delicious 4th of July I’ve ever had! Plus, Blakely is now understanding just how wonderful fireworks are so I’m counting down the days until she gets to see them!
What are your July 4th plans? I hope they’re filled with fun and family!
