Blakely’s Valentine’s Party
My daughter has loved throwing “parties” for her teddy bears since she could barely stand. I should pull some of the early photos of her hosting tea parties for the teddies. They’re so cute!
Blakely’s Valentine’s Party
She has definitely picked up on my love for entertaining, and I keep a special shelf of party decor for her to play with.  As she has gotten older, I let her play with the “real” plates, etc. She gets so excited. We had a few days off and she hosted a Valentine’s party for her teddies. She loves going around to each place setting to make sure each teddy has a dessert, ha!
When she isn’t “throwing a party”, she uses this little table as an art table in my office (or living room, we move it around). It’s this table from Pottery Barn Kids. I highly recommend it! The mini chiavari chairs can be found here on Amazon! We use them for all her birthday parties and around the house. She has a couple in her room as well. I love them!
She played ALL day at this little Valentine’s Tea Party, and for a “work from home” mama like me, I love it! Ha! She’s happy. I can get some work in. Win-win!
It’s amazing what some red roses and a cute garland can do for the imagination! Plus, she and I made the little strawberry ice cream parfaits together. Any time I can spend with her in the kitchen makes my heart happy. I grew up as my mom’s “sidekick” while she cooked and baked so I love passing on this tradition with my own daughter!
Just a short post today, but I thought I’d share a glimpse into life lately. We LOVE Valentine’s Day and hope you have the most wonderful pink and red filled week as well!
I love that gold beaded edge picture frame, where is this from?
It was from Michaels a few years ago!
Where are the cups from? So cute!
The little pale pink ones? They’re from Target, they were a few years ago, however.
