I love this combination of blackberries, burrata cheese, sea salt and a drizzle of hot honey!

Fresh summer blackberries are just my favorite! I love to find unique ways to incorporate them into recipes. These blackberry burrata crostini are perfect for happy hours, summer barbecues, backyard parties or just a tasty weeknight snack. They make the perfect appetizer!
The steps to make these blackberry burrata crostini are super simple. Anyone can make these. The hardest part is simply waiting for the crostini to toast up in the oven. That’s the perfect time to prep you blackberries, burrata and grab some sea salt and hot honey too.

Blackberry & Burrata Crostini: Ingredient Notes
Crostini: Grab a baguette and slice diagonally. Drizzle baguette slices with extra virgin olive oil and bake at 375 degrees F until toasted, about 10 minutes. Watch carefully so they don’t burn.
Blackberries: I love fresh, summer blackberries, but you could also substitute in any berry for this recipe! You could even use blackberry jam instead.
Burrata: Any burrata will do, you tear it and spread it on, nothing too fancy. Can’t find burrata? Substitute in mozzarella cheese or even goat cheese.
Sea Salt: Add to taste! I love a good flaky sea salt.
Garnishing Greens: Sprinkle on micro-greens or diced herbs like basil or parsley for a pop of green for a finishing touch!
Hot Honey: Drizzle on hot honey over the top of these crostini when ready to serve. Don’t love spicy? Just drizzle with regular honey or substitute with a balsamic vinegar (or balsamic glaze).

I recently moved to Charleston, SC (I grew up when I was a younger child here in Charleston so it’s a bit of long-time-homecoming) and I’ve fallen in love with Red Clay’s products, especially their “Hot Hot Honey” which is what I used here. They also have a spicy peach honey which would be so delicious with these too!
Making these burrata crostini is so easy. It’s just a matter of layering on fresh burrata to the crostini toasts, topping with juice blackberries, sprinkling on sea salt, and drizzling with honey. DELISH!

The flavor just work together so well. The sweet blackberries and savory burrata with the crunchy toast and spicy honey, *chef’s kiss*! They’re just perfect for enjoying with a relaxing glass of wine on the back porch.

I prepared this exquisite blackberry burrata crostini for my husband’s birthday bash, and it left everyone in awe! The combination of flavors is simply delectable and indulgent. I made sure to skip the honey to accommodate his diabetes, but that didn’t stop everyone from savoring every bite! :)
