It might be February, but we are hitting the upper 60s here in Nashville (what?) and that has me yearning for summer afternoons, sipping tea outside! So when Lipton Iced Tea + BlogFrog asked me to create a cocktail recipe using one of their 2 new iced tea products (Lipton Diet Green Tea Honey Ginseng & Lipton 100 Calorie Half and Half – Tea and Lemonade), I was all over it! The result? My new favorite cocktail beverage… no kidding…I’m slightly obsessed!

I already think half lemonade and half tea is a match made in heaven so adding wine and fresh fruit takes it from great to FANTASTIC! It’s refreshing, light, and the perfect blend of tea and citrus.

So this recipe is best with slices of fresh fruit (like most sangrias)! I chose a citrus variety (to pair well with the tea and lemonade) including lemons, limes, and oranges. You could also add in grapefruit which would be delish. Then, all you need is white wine (I used a simple pinot grigio) and Lipton 100 Calorie Half & Half (Tea and Lemonade).

Take it on the go – add in some ice cubes to keep it chilled and a fun paper straw for sipping!

Though I chose the Lipton 100 Calorie Half & Half (Tea and Lemonade), I can’t wait to try this recipe with the new Lipton Diet Green Tea Honey Ginseng too! Here’s to refreshing with an afternoon break. Cheers!
