Watermelon Sangria with White Wine
For the adults, I love making a batch of this quick and easy watermelon white wine sangria. I love red wine sangria, but I find it a bit heavy and filling for the summertime, so I love to switch things up with a light and refreshing white wine.
Watermelon is always a staple in my house during the summer, so it’s easy to stash away an extra few slices to make this easy beverage. You can keep it prepared in a pitcher in the refrigerator to quickly have on hand for drop-in guests or impromptu parties. You never know when you might want a fun party beverage!
Watermelon Sangria Tips
This sangria has watermelon balls (or cubes) included and you can freeze them to keep your sangria cold even longer, without watering it down with more ice!
If you want more watermelon flavor, consider pureeing the watermelon balls and pressing through a fine mesh sieve. Then add the puree to the sangria and stir well.
To serve up this delicious sangria on the go, fill mason jars up and top with the lid! Tie on a cute straw and you’re ready to go! You can even find an oversized mason jar to serve as a “portable pitcher” for taking your sangria down to the pool or out to a friend’s residence. However you enjoy your sangria, you’re definitely going to love it! Happy summer!
