Incorporating Blue & White into your Christmas Table

Tips for adding blue and white and Chinoiserie style details to your Christmas table to enjoy throughout the holiday season!

Growing up in downtown Charleston, I used to find little, broken pieces of blue canton porcelain dinnerware while playing our yard. Perhaps that is where my first love of blue and white came about (haha), but I have always adored the classic motifs and colors.

It might not be a typical Christmas color scheme, but if you love blue and white too, I wanted to give you a few ideas for incorporating it into your Christmas tablescape! It’s quite a beautiful combination…

Blue and White Christmas Tables

Blue and white is naturally beautiful on its own, but adding a pop of Christmas red or tartan plaid takes it to the next level for the holiday season!

For my table (shown above), I added the Blue Willow Stockings by Bauble Stockings designed by the talented Emmie Ruth Wise. Their darling little stockings sell out quickly, but there are new designs each year (with several blue and white) so I encourage you to check their site to see them all!

Recreate the look by incorporating your own blue and white pieces from vases or dinnerware to napkins and tablecloths.

Add in pops of red like red bows around your napkins (shown in this red and gold tablescape) or a gorgeous red tablecloth topped with blue and white pieces.
