Sage Green & White Fall Tablescape
Set your fall tablescape with cozy, autumn vibes in an unexpected sage green and white color scheme that you can enjoy from September all the way through Thanksgiving!
I love to use unexpected colors (like pink at Christmas) and while greens are indeed a natural color all year long, they’re a nice change from the classic orange and yellow hues during the fall. I paired the sage and sea-foam greens with pops of white for my fall tablescape, and I love the result!
TIPS FOR RECREATING THE LOOK INCLUDED BELOW
It’s cozy and relaxing yet crisp and clean making it the perfect color combo to leave up in your home all fall season. This fall tablescape can carry you all the way through Thanksgiving!
I just love the soft hues of the green and white colors. I have lots of blue and coastal colors in my home, and I think this pairs so beautifully. I just love walking through and seeing this pretty table!
Fall Tablescape | Place Settings: Get the Look
Rattan Chargers: Here are the exact chargers I used on my fall table. There are dozens of styles of rattan and water hyacinth charger plates that create the perfect foundation for your place settings. I love these here!
White Dinner Plates: I’ve probably said this a thousand times, but invest in some classic white dinner plates. They are the base of so many of my tablescapes because you can use them all year long! I love these scalloped plates from Lenox!
Pumpkin Salad Plates: My white pumpkin plates came from Michael’s several years ago (I keep hoping they’ll bring them back one year). I have a few alternatives that are just as pretty. I love these white pumpkin plates from Williams-Sonoma and these white pumpkin plates too! Alternatively, you could use a simple white salad plate and top each plate with a white pumpkin tied with a little gold bow around the stem for a similar look!
Bamboo Flatware: I love classic bamboo flatware for year-round entertaining! Here is a link directly to mine shown, they’re super affordable and come in silver and gold. I also own and adore this gold bamboo flatware. It’s so pretty!
Sage Green Napkins: My napkins were a lucky Homegoods find, but these wheat pinstripe napkins are very pretty (I use mine all the time). These light green and white napkins are also very pretty (and come in a set of 12)!
Glassware: The sea-foam green stemmed glasses were a lucky find by my Mother years and years ago, but I’ve sourced a few similar looks! Love these etched green glasses, sage drinking glasses, and light green goblets. We paired them with our Waterford glasses, a classic staple!
Fall Tablescape Centerpiece
I was originally inspired to create this tablescape by the sage green pumpkins with gold stems that I found at Homegoods. I paired them with little faux white pumpkins that I’ve collected over the years from various places (Target, Hobby Lobby, etc).
I set the pumpkins on my favorite sea-foam check table runner. Then I topped them with a collection of brass candlesticks. Some of these were antique finds and the bamboo ones can be found here!
I filled cane/woven vases with arrangements of eucalyptus, white lilies, white tulips, white roses, white ranunculus, and a few sprigs of variegated ivy from my garden. The eucalyptus and lilies smell FABULOUS! Lastly I tucked in some wheat to give the fall flower arrangements that autumn touch!
CANE/WOVEN VASES
My cane vases were a lucky HomeGoods find, but here are a few similar ones…
- Cane Tabletop Hurricane Glasses (set of 3 sizes)
- Lindroth Designs is the queen of cane wrapped glassware!
- Cane Wrapped Vases from Amazon (2 sizes)
You can find wheat in the floral section of most grocery stores (and often craft stores) during the fall. It will last for several years, and the wheat gives the perfect fall touch to floral arrangements. You can even group several wheat stems together with a small ribbon as a decorative plate-topper. There are so many ways to use wheat on a tablescape!
I hope this fall tablescape has inspired you to set your own autumn-themed table! Whether you’re hosting friends for a Girl’s Night, a Friendsgiving or Thanksgiving holiday, or just celebrating the everyday with your own family at home, it’s the special touches and little details that really make a meal special!
Speaking of fall parties and meals, here are a few menu ideas if you’re hosting a fall gathering!
- Brown Sugar Pie or Butterscotch Cinnamon Pie (or both!)
- 8 Drinks to Make with Apple Cider (like Sparkling Apple Cider Sangria)
- Holiday Beef Roast
- Apple Dump Cake
- Easy Holiday Appetizers

Hi Kathy! I bought it at Homegoods. There’s a similar green one here: https://bit.ly/3mh1JBb and a sage one here: https://bit.ly/3isK5t5
Hope this helps!

A gentle elegant beauty!
This is the color I’m planning to use! Thanks for the great photos and tips. Your tablescape is gorgeous 😍
Beautiful! I’m curious – you mentioned how you love seeing the table when you walk through your house. Do you keep your table set all season until the next one rolls around?
Hi Denise! Sometimes, it depends a bit on what I have coming up (am I styling another table for a brand or hosting friends and want a different set-up aka do they have kids and I’d rather change it to something more casual). I also love a clean table look so I usually have a couple of weeks between holidays where it’s empty as I sort of “think up” what I’d love the next holiday table to look like. :)
Beautiful. Love the pumpkin plates! I just received my order for the bamboo flatware. Love it!! Thanks for the lead on that. Happy Fall to you and yours!
You’re so welcome!
Hello Courtney,
Where do you find the cane/woven vases? Love your tablescapes!
Thank you
Hi Rita! Thanks for this question, I thought others might like the answer too so I have updated the post with a list of similar cane/woven vases. Mine were from Homegoods, but I sourced similar ones, the post is updated, look under my centerpiece section above.
