Mocha Almond Hershey Pie

Growing up, my Mom would occasionally whip up a Hershey Pie, a scrumptious treat loaded with Hershey bars. She added her own flair to the classic by incorporating Hershey Bars with almonds and a touch of instant coffee, transforming it into an irresistible Mocha Almond Pie! It’s quickly becoming my husband’s favorite treat, especially in the hot summer months!

If you’re a fan of chocolate and coffee, this pie will become your new favorite. It’s a quick and delightful dessert perfect for any occasion, from holidays to celebrations.

Why You’ll Love this Mocha Almond Pie

  • Almost No-Bake: Aside from the crust, there’s no baking required. You can easily use a graham cracker crust or an Oreo cookie crust for added convenience.
  • Fool-Proof: This is a simple stir-and-pour recipe that turns out perfectly every time!
  • Rich and Creamy: Indulge in the dreamy blend of chocolate mocha with plenty of crunchy almonds—pure deliciousness in every bite!

What’s in a Mocha Almond Pie?

  • HERSHEY BARS: Use Hershey Bars with Almonds for that extra crunch and nutty flavor. Feel free to add even more almonds if you love a bit of extra crunch!
  • COOL WHIP: Choose light or regular Cool Whip based on your preference. This ingredient makes the pie irresistibly creamy. Alternatively, you can use 3 cups of freshly whipped cream!
  • INSTANT COFFEE: For a bold coffee flavor, dissolve instant coffee in water. If you prefer a milder taste, use cooled brewed coffee. Adjust the strength to suit your taste.
  • PIE CRUST: A standard pie crust works wonderfully. You can also opt for a no-bake crust like a graham cracker crust or Oreo cookie crust.

Flavor Variations

Want to switch it up? Here are a few fun ideas and twists you can try with this pie!

  • Crust Variations: Swap out the regular pie crust for an Oreo crust or a graham cracker crust to add a different flavor and texture to your pie.
  • Nut-Free Option: Prefer it without nuts? Simply leave out the almonds for a smooth and creamy chocolate-coffee pie.
  • Garnish Ideas: Jazz up your pie by garnishing it with a drizzle of hot fudge and extra almonds for more crunch. You can also just keep it simple with a dollop of extra whipped cream on top.

I dare you to stop at just one slice!
