Who wants jalapenos? No really. I have no idea why but peppers grow like hot cakes here in Tennessee. My husband and I have a bush on our deck and my Mom has multiple jalapeno plants in her garden. You don’t have to worry about squirrels or rabbits eating them (one bite and they won’t be back). Basically, we have 2398493 jalapenos around these parts.
This sangria is my new favorite summer cocktail! With the summer season comes the dreaded heat (and humidity down south), so be sure to keep cool with some refreshing iced beverages. For the adults, I love making a batch of this quick and easy watermelon white wine sangria. I love red wine sangria, but I find it a bit heavy and filling for the summertime,

We have this thing with blackberries…we LOVE them (proof: my brother’s blackberry jam recipe). They’re not quite as popular as the strawberry or the blueberry but if you taste them at their ripeness, you’ll fully understand why we’re obsessed. Blackberry cobbler is a personal favorite recipe

I love brunch, y’all. Want to know why? Mimosas! Any excuse to enjoy a cocktail before 11:00 am is my kind of celebration. I happen to ADORE mimosas. Now, the traditional orange juice mimosa is perfectly fine and dandy but we’re all about adding pizzazz around these parts so the cherry mimosa was born! It’s sweet and sparkling with a touch of tartness. Shh.. it also
