Blue and Pink Summer Tablescape
I set this blue and pink summer tablescape recently, and I just love how it all came together! My pink peonies were finally blooming here in Tennessee, and I had to bring some inside to enjoy!
Spring into Summer Decor
As we say goodbye to spring and HELLO to summer, I love to liven up my pastel hues and bring out some bright and patriotic blues! Blue and white is such a classic color combo so I could truly leave this set-up all the way through Memorial Day, just swapping out florals as needed.
Don’t work harder! Swap out pink peonies for red and white florals with American flags tucked in for Memorial Day or July 4th. P.S. Here are tons of Patriotic Party Ideas if you need more inspiration!
Summer Tablescape Details
Back to our “springing into summer” tablescape. I started with one of my favorite blue and white tablecloths, my Mom and I actually made it from fabric by Lacefield Designs (and it’s featured in my book Pizzazzerie: Entertain in Style).
My Favorite Tablecloth Tip
Want unique tablecloth designs and can’t find what you’re looking for? Visit your local fabric store and browse the aisles, you’ll be AMAZED at the inspiration for tablescapes. Simply measure your table so you know how many yards you’ll need and use no-sew hem tape on the edges! Ta-da! A completely custom tablecloth.
I paired the tablecloth with these darling petal flower-shaped rattan placemats and assorted blue and white dinnerware from Neiman Marcus. The designs are so unique yet pair so beautifully together.
I adore this Famille Rose collection so I used the cloth napkins on my table. I must say there is also a gorgeous table runner in the same design! I love linen designs with multiple colors because you can pull out one or two to pull everything together with dishes and flowers.

I also love bamboo touches in my home and on my tables, so my bamboo flatware was the perfect addition to my place settings on this blue and pink tablescape!
Floral and Garden Touches
In each napkin, I tucked in a sprig of fern and ivy from my garden. I wanted to tie in lots of spring touches in addition to the centerpieces of pink peonies. They always bloom in May, and I just love bringing them inside to enjoy at my table.
Psst… You can see how I styled my pink peonies last year on this pink peony table!
I’ve seen so many fabulous rattan and woven pieces this year, like these candle holders that I used as mini vases for extra peonies. Check places like At Home, Michaels and Kirklands… you’ll spot rattan and woven pieces to add to your collection if you love this coastal look as well!
I hope you’re inspired to “spring into summer” with a gorgeous tablescape! If you want even more inspiration, I have lots of additional spring and summer tablescapes below…

Wow! I love this style. Blue and Pink are always a good combination. I would love to change the flower to roses. Thanks for sharing!
Love, love, love it all…. Makes me want to have a dinner party for sure. Thank you, Courtney… Best, Rinne
I am quite impressed with your decoration. The decoration is very nice and eye-catching. How to do it is worth learning!
These flowers are so beautiful, the mix of green and pink is so unique
Your tablecloth is beautiful! I love the idea of making my own tablecloths and can’t wait to shop on Spoonflower with that in mind. Is there a particular brand of no-sew hem tape that you would recommend?

Such a scene is so peaceful
